(737) 701-5373Dr. Jonathan Klocek is a highly sought-after primary care physician with over two decades of experience serving the Austin community. His loyal and longstanding patient base values his unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate, personalized care and unmatched medical leadership. In recognition of his devotion to his patients, he has received multiple awards and accolades throughout his career, including Texas Monthly Super Doctors and Austin Monthly Top Doctors.

Dr. Klocek earned his undergraduate degree with High Honors in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa – a rare and remarkable distinction. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, again with multiple merits.

Following his residency, Dr. Klocek started his career as a hospitalist at Ascension Seton Medical Center, where he rose to the rank of Section Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine. From there, he joined Capital Medical Clinic as an internal medicine physician, a position he held for 20 years before joining MD2. In addition to his direct patient care responsibilities, he held several leadership roles, including Medical Director of a high-complexity CLIA-certified laboratory.

Dr. Klocek is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. He is affiliated with Seton Medical Center.
